Evaluation Options

Different floor concerns need different levels of attention. Some situations can start with a remote review, while others may require an on-site evaluation, a certified inspection, or support for a dispute or claim.

This page is designed to help you choose the right next step without guessing.

Start with the option that best matches your situation. If you are not sure, choose “Not sure” on the request form and we’ll guide you from there.

Choose the right level of help

Initial Floor Review

Best for early questions, photo review, or when you are not sure whether an on-site inspection is needed.

A remote review of your flooring concern with an inspection professional. This is not an on-site inspection, certified inspection, repair estimate, or written report.

Independent Hardwood Evaluation

Best when you need an objective on-site assessment and practical findings.

An on-site evaluation for situations where certified documentation may not be required, but an experienced inspection perspective is needed.

Certified Inspection

Best when documentation, standards-based evaluation, or certified findings may be needed.

A certified inspection may involve NWFA or IFCII inspection credentials depending on the situation, scope, and documentation required.

Dispute, Claim & Expert Support

Best for insurance matters, contractor disputes, mediation, legal review, or expert documentation.

These matters are reviewed separately based on scope, documentation needs, and the level of support required.
